Wonderful

Incredible quality, a great sounding snare. A great choice for any music genre. Very powerful, responsive and with a lot of range. Also, that mag throw off system is incredibly smooth. I guess you can't go wrong with dw drums, love it!

Sehr gute Allround-Snaredrum

Nach etwa 10 Jahren hatte meine bisherige Sonor Snare den Dienst versagt, eine Reparatur an der Aufhängung des Snare-Teppich kam aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen nicht mehr in Frage - deshalb war die Entscheidung eine neue Snare zu organisieren schnell gefallen.
Als Hobby-Musiker mit einigen Auftritten im Jahr musste es kein absolutes top-Produkt sein - mit einer gewissen Basis-Qualität, Holzkessel und Preis um die 500-600¤ war der Rahmen aber schon gesteckt. Nach einiger Internet-Recherche hat sich dann die DW Performance als Favorit ergeben - diese habe ich dann final auch erworben. Es war die richtige Entscheidung - wie von DW gewohnt perfekte Verarbeitung, ein sehr schönes Finish, das mit unterschiedlichen Lichteinfällen tolle Farbeindrücke liefert und ein voller, runder Sound, der je nach Stimmung des Felles extrem knackig und gleichzeitig sehr warm rüberkommt. Nutzung mit sehr unterschiedliche Musik-Stilen sicher kein Problem - bei uns als Alternative-/Postrock-Band passt der Sound jedenfalls mehr als perfekt und setzt sich auch gegen ordentlich verstärkte Gitarre und Bass problemlos durch.
Fazit: eine sehr gute Snare ohne Schwächen, mit großem Einsatz-Spektrum und in perfekter Qualität und Verarbeitung. Dank an DW fürs bauen und danke Thomann für die schnelle Lieferung.

Hé bin mon cochon!!! Sa sonne!!!! Grosse qualité de fabrication, aucun défaut, c’est vraiment beau à regarder. Mais surtout elle a un son d’enfer. Je joue style punk, métal, est depuis que je l’ai je dois apprendre à taper plus doucement ( malgré l’excitation qu’elle procure) car elle a un gros volume sonore, assez chaud sans timbre et bien claquant avec. Il faut que je l’essaye encore avec pas mal de peaux différentes mais je suis ravi déjà du résultat!
