Great strings, love them

I was using cobalts in my strat for many years, then decided to move to Daddario NYXL. While Daddarios are great as well, playing cobalts again feels like going home after a long trip. I play them in a tele now and they are just awesome. They sound great, feel great, stay in tune and last long, nothing more to expect from guitar strings.

Probably the best strings out there

So, I have tried many strings in my time, and these are the best one so far for the style i am playing. I do play ska-punk, and these strings are just *Chef's Kiss*. There are enough mids treble and bass in them. They also have this snappy tone to them. I do recommend them with all my heart. But if you play something more chill, go for other stuff, because this thing cuts through everything in the mix.

I got these to try the cobalt thing and I am not sure I can see any more clarity but I still enjoy it. If you just looking for good strings these are great.

PRS liefert seine Gitarren definitiv nicht mit den Saiten aus, die die Firma selbst vertreibt (das sind Dinger aus der Schmiede D'Addario). So weit bin ich schon.

Die zu bewertenden Saiten kommen richtig gut und sind nach meinem Ermessen die, die auf meiner Hollowbody 2 Piezo bei Auslieferung drauf waren. Möglicherweise waren es auch normale Earny Balls. Die hier zu bewertenden sind einfach genial. Output, Ansprache, egal, alles genial. Die Mitten fehlen vielleicht ein wenig, es klingt halt insgesamt etwas akustischer. Und? Wollen wir das nicht alle? Jeder moderne Amp kann das kompensieren, und wenn nicht, dann eben der Tube Screamer.

Schon klar, die Jungs von PRS wissen, was gut ist. Warum wollen die uns dennoch mit ihren Saiten verarschen? Just for the sake of the holy money?

Nachtrag: mittlerweile auch auf PRS 509 (blonde Version, also Wood Library) getestet. Und, auch schau hin: so kann die Gitarre auch klingen. Das passt perfekt, ist fast schon eine neue Dimension. Dann sollten diese Saiten auch jede dahergelaufene Stratocaster gehörig aufwerten. Unbedingt ausprobieren!
