Bought it for my Fender MIA Reissue '57 (built in 1993)

Length is wrong, angles are wrong, and in my hands in no time it will start peeling and eventually it's gonna rust.

This has nothing to do with the original tremolo arm of my strat in terms of dimensions etc.

Der perfekte Arm für Vintage Strats

Dieser Arm macht für mich mehr Sinn als alle anderen Strat Ärme. Warum? Er steht viel kürzer raus, was ihn auch deutlich leichter erreichbar macht.

Dafür hat einen steileren Winkel, was die Hebelwirkung verstärkt, man muss also nur leicht dran kommen und es tut sich schon was. SOmit kann man ganz leicht mit dem kleinen Finger tremolieren, ohne Kraftaufwand.

Verarbeitung, tja, der Stahlteil ist bestens, das Gewinde ist passgenau (zumindest in Verbindung mit Fender Vintage Block) aber die Kappe nicht so. Das Gewinde lässt sich ab Tag 1 durch drehen. Fest ist es trotzdem aber etwas unschön. Weiterhin sind die Schnittstellen deutlich fühlbar, sogar mein Squier-Arm war hier sauberer verarbeitet.

Außerdem ist die Kappe Eierschalen-weiss, was zu den meisten mir bekannten Vintage Strats nicht passt, weil die entweder Cream oder Vintage white haben, also vergilbt sind. Das passt leider gar nicht dazu und ich hab mir erstmal einen andere Kappe bestellt, für 4 Euro zusätzlich (mit Versand).
