Great alternative to bone

The Graph Tech Tusq saddle is a high quality product made in Canada.

Many guitars and ukuleles feature a bone saddle. It's not uncommon that this is just a way to draw the buyer's attention. There are huge differences in the quality of a bone.

The Tusq material from Graph Tech is man-made unlike a bone. The company refers to it as man-made ivory. In fact, it feels very solid and much like ivory. I use it on two of my ukuleles where the saddles produce a great tone and establish a tight and immediate connection between the strings and the bridge, leading to a richness of overtones.

It's easy to file and sand it to your required size.

Correspond parfaitement à mes attentes. Fabrication sans aucun défaut. dimensions attendues impeccable, facile à travailler. Posé sur un Ukulélé MOTU, il m'a permis de bien baisser les cordes tout en conservant un bon sustain (attention à bien tailler l'arrête bien en pointe, comme sur le sillet d'origine en bois, que j'ai utilisé comme support de sillet).
