Superb reed

Professional player. I tried this reed on my Aaron Drake NY Jazz and Contemporary pieces and was blown away. Perfect reed for my concept.

Ein bisschen enttäuscht...

Ich besitze dieses Blättchen bereits für Tenor, wo es mir auch schon nicht ganz gefallen hat. Habe mir trotzdem gedacht es sei ein Versuch wert.
Gespielt habe ich das Blättchen auf einem Vandoren V16 A7-S+.
Die Ansprache war akzeptabel, vergleichbar mit einem Vandoren Classic Blue 2,5. Der Sound hat mir nicht gefallen, er war sehr flach im Vergleich zu Holz-Blättchen.
Die Verarbeitung war okay, jedoch scheint es mir als würde es eine gewisse Inkonsistenz unter den Blättchen geben. Bei diesem Blättchen standen kleine Fasern ab (wird in vielen Bewertung vor gewarnt), welche man erst mit feinem Schleifpapier abschleifen sollte. Bei dem für mein Tenor hatte ich nicht das Problem und alles war spielbereit.
Immerhin sieht das Blättchen cool aus.

Zur Zeit teste ich mich durch die Welt der Kunstoffblätter und bin mittlerweile schwer überzeugt. Gerade weil ich das Sax auf der Bühne nur sporadisch einsetzte sind diese Blätte immer sofort voll einsatzbereit.
Das Harry Hartmann Fiberreed HEMP Alto Sax M habe ich jetzt auch am Start und finde es prima. Spricht sauber an, klingt gut und hält ewig. Was will man mehr?
