Jensen P12R Alnico Vintage 16Ohm

Do not red forums about these speakers becouse you will get a wrong picture about these spreakers. I bought two of these and a couple of C12Q, installed them today and was blown away by the sound. I put one of each kind in my DIY amp and dte sound is amazing, expecialy considering they aren't even broken in yet. I had a couple of Celestion Bluebacks in the combo and way prefer sound of these, so do not listen to those suckers on forums who keep on saying that Jensen reissue speakers are bad and not worth buying.

I got a quad of these for my old Fender Quad Reverb, I had previously bought a quad of P10R's for my old Super Reverb, after getting a pair of P12Q's, you can see where I'm going, I just love Jensens. These P12R's did not disappoint. Crisp very crisp, I don't use OD pedals, just a germanium treble booster to push the pre-amp valves. With the P10R and P12R, I don't even feel the need for that. Perfectly balanced tone, at medium volumes, sweet sweet cleans and fresh, fine grained crunch tones with soft and round low end, both in the room and through vintage MD421's. Cranked, it feels like getting mauled by angels, angles with chest hair, finger licking good. They pair particularly well with P90's and older Stratocasters. They're beyond recommendation from likes of me, legendary speakers made the way they should be.
