Smooth wound perfect as a low-G

Really like the “golden alloy” surface on the wound G-string; works very well as a low G on both my concert and tenor size ukuleles, even though it’s not advertised as such. Smoothest wound string in any set of ukulele strings found so far, and yet the diameter is as thick as wound strings in other sets that are advertised as low-G.

Nice choice for low G concert

Nice rounded sound.

String tension a little too low for concert size.

Wound 4th does not need nut slot to be resized.

Vraiment pas mal

Comme dit dans le titre, je trouve ces cordes vraiment pas mal.
La sonorité est correcte et me plaît. Je cherchais des cordes apportant de la chaleur et de la rondeur, ayant un uke ténor en bambou qui naturellement, donne un son plutôt clair et brillant.
Je me suis donc mis en recherche de cordes en nylon.
Celles-ci ont donc une bonne sonorité, le sustain est correct. La tension l'est également (j'aime que mes cordes ne soient pas toutes molles mais que je n'ai pas non plus à appuyer comme un fou pour faire mes barrés).
Esthétiquement, j'aurai préféré une version en nylon noir ou du moins foncé.
Question longévité, ça va faire deux mois que je les ai installé et ça ne bouge pas. Il a fallu quelques jours pour qu'elles se stabilisent. Tout à fait normal donc.
Le meilleur atout de ces cordes restent son prix. Le rapport qualité-prix est très bon.
Il est fort probable que je reprenne ces cordes
