LD Systems U308 IEM HP

Das „LD Systems U308 IEM HP“ benutze ich um auf die Monitorlautsprecher verzichten zu können. Dazu schließe ich den Sender am Mischpult-Monitorausgang, oder auch jeden anderen Ausgang, an, gleiche die Lautstärke am „LD Systems U308 IEM HP“ ab und schon kann ich über die Ohrhörer vom Empfänger all das hören was ich sonst über die Monitorlautsprecher gehört habe mit eigener Lautstärke, welche ich am Empfänger einstellen kann, hören. Wichtig ist auch das keine Zeitverzögerung (Latenz) bei der Übertragung auftritt, was bei Bluetooth-Kopfhörer fast immer zu verzeichnen ist. Auch die Reichweite ist beträchtlich, über 50m, ausgemessen habe ich es nicht. Also für mich als Hobby DJ und gerade bei meinen Gesangseinlagen, ist dieses Gerät eines auf welches ich nicht mehr verzichten möchte. Auch in einer kleinen Band, mit mehreren Empfängern, kann ich mir die Nutzung gut vorstellen.

So I play in a band where we are now using IEM both for hearing our instruments, but also for backtracks and click. However, paying tons of money potentially mostly for possibilities of switching frequencies more accurately as well as somewhat improved sound quality... well... it wasnt worth thousands of € at this point.

I knew the build quality wouldnt be "top of the line" due to the price. However, I am happily surprised. And as we keep these units mounted in our rack at all time, it's not really an issue at this time and I am happily surprised about the build quality (do not expect build quality perfection, though :)).
However, I did experience some issues mounting the units in my rack, as the units + the rack extensions are not fully straight, which can cause some frustration!

In terms of functions, you can switch frequencies by switching channel on each unit + belt pack. However, the manual is not very informative on this matter. If you do check the LD System website and look in the support / FAQ section, you can find the frequency summary, which might ease some things.

So... this is where the negative parts come: The sound quality is absolutely horrific! I mean... it's usable, but the distortion and quality decrease is absolutely insane. You will still hear what's happening, but everything will sound like a destroyed tape from the 70's or so.
But then... how much money is it worth only to have a bit better sound quality?

In terms of drop outs / frequency interference, we've had no issues so far. However, most of our gigs has been small club gigs together with some other bands.
But in a couple weeks we will do our first gig on one of Europe's biggest rock festivals... I guess we'll see how it works in such an environment! :)

Cela fait maintenant 4 mois que j'utilise ce Système sans fil ( Je suis bassiste dans un orchestre de bal). J'ai eu l'occasion de l'utilisé plusieurs fois sur scène et le moins que je puisse dire c'est qu'il est plutôt bon !
(Je précise que je n'ai jamais essayé les écouteurs fourni avec, je les ais pris en cas de secours. J'utilise des Shure SE215-CL)

La construction est bonne, le plastique semble un peu léger mais en reste néanmoins solide, j'en ai toujours pris soin.
Je n'ai jamais eu de mauvaise surprises , pas de décrochage , quelques rares interférences mais qui se corrige facilement en changeant de canaux.
Au niveaux de l'autonomie elle est très bonne, j'utilise des piles rechargeables et je peux tenir une journée entières avant que l'écran ne clignote en rouge (indiquant que le niveau des piles est faibles)

Seul petit bémol, c'est le son. il est moins bon qu'avec un câble, mais évidemment vu le prix on ne peut pas espérer mieux.
En soit cela reste quand même écoutable,
si vous êtes chez vous avec zéro bruit autour le son est assez dégueulasse , mais quand vous êtes sur scène avec une énorme sono, un public qui fait du bruit et un batteur derrière vous qui tape comme un sauvage, vous ne faites pas la différence =)
