Excellent PUs, even for metal

Bought these and had them installed in a 2000-ish Korean EC-1000. Glorious, simply glorious. Full, warm, articulate sound, perfectly suitable for pretty much anything, from classic rock to the metal I've been playing for almost 30 years now. They clean up pretty well, too, albeit it's not exactly my go-to scenario. The piezo/double six preset on my Cortex also works great with them. Don't be fooled by the medium output, metal amps already have enough gain, anyway.

Demoed them using 2 of my trusty Engls, an E670 and a Savage SE. Glorious!

Sehr gute Pickups

Für diese Preisklasse aussergewöhnlich gut klingende Pickups. Authentische Materialien wurden verwendet. Bis auf die Pickup Abdeckungen, dort wurde eine Kupferschicht zum vernickeln auf das Neusilber aufgebracht. Das klaut ein wenig die Höhen. Dennoch kein Punkteabzug wegen des günstigen Preises. Premium Hersteller die auf dieses Detail achten, verlangen in der Regel das doppelte oder sogar mehr.
Mit dem Set kann man nichts falsch machen, wenn man vintage Sound mit etwas mehr Dampf sucht.
