and if you do, it is satisfying
I find this little clip and shape of the microphone a bit annoying, it feels like it might fall in the middle of a take.
The sound is good otherwise although the self noise is a bit high.
For the price it is a good microphone that come with plenty of accessories.

Ich hab mir das Lavalier geholt, weil ich etwas unkompliziert über XLR (mit dem Rode VLXR+) an mein Centrance Mixerface R4 anschließen wollte. Funktioniert gut, aber was mich wirklich überrascht hat: ich habe damit jetzt ein paar Mal Interviews in sehr halligen Industrieräumen aufgenommen und der Hauptakteur kam jeweils sehr klar und gut rüber. Klar, mein Nieren-Headset vermeidet mehr Raumhall und Nebengeräusche, aber das Rode Lavalier bietet für relativ kleines Geld ein erstaunlich gutes Ergebnis.

amazing upgrade to rode go

I've had issues with rode go 2 in acoustically untreated rooms, it would pick up just too much of the ambient noise and reverb. With these, rode go now sounds much much better. they are easy to set, the clip is excellent, and so is the cable and the small case is just the cherry on top!

100 fucking Euro für ein Lavalier?!?

Wieso kauf ich es dann? Kann mich selber nicht verstehen!
Abääär..., es ist nun einmal so, dass das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Lavalier des Rode Filmmaker Kit irgendwie zu dumpf ist.
Da ich ja nun keinen Geldscheißer in der Ecke stehen hab, nutze ich mein Audio- Videoequipment ebenso für meinen Videoschnitt am PC.

Hardware für Videokamera und Videoschnitt:

Behringer U-Phoria UMC 22
Rode VXLR
Selbst gebasteltes Heatset für das Lavalier
Rode Lavalier II

Das Rode Lavalier II hat ein wesentlich präziseres und nicht zu dumpfes Klangbild. Die "Advetzkrantzkertzen" zischen nicht die "Bady beim Bobbele im Bool" ist nicht zu dumpf. Echt klasse!

Für mich als Videoenthusiast der seine Familien- Urlaub - und Youtube Videos produziert ein wunderbares "eierlegendeswollmilchsau" Setup.

Natürlich mit Linux (Debian)
OBS = Stream- und Sreencast
Shotcut = Videoschnitt

Deswegen poste ich das doch :-)
