Really Versatile

I always used typical ligatures until I tried this one. Depending on your mouthpiece and reed selection, you'll be able to find a combination with this ligature that suits your personal sound. I also found that it makes articulation easier and with a wider range than with a standard ligature. Plus, it is fun to change the settings every now and then. The only con is that when not in use, you need to store the metal plates (comes with 2) in a safe place.

Mittel gegen schrille Blätter

Im Vergleich zu reinen Metall-Ligaturen dämpft diese deutlich die Höhen - zumindest bei bestimmten meiner Blätter. Das ist durchaus gewollt, wenn die Blätter zu schrill klingen oder das Mundstück sowieso eher hell is. Bei manchen Blatt-Mundstück-Kombinationen ziehe ich aber eine gute Metallschraube vor. Ein Nachteil ist, dass die Ligatur recht leicht verrutscht, wenn man das Mundstück dreht oder rein und raus schiebt. Bei den unterschiedlichen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten (Austausch der Metallplatten, ohne Metallplatte etc.) höhre ich, ehrlich gesagt, keine riesigen Unterschiede.
