Ditch those drum skin gells

Getting good quality damping on your drums is essential, sometimes gels can help, sometimes gaffa tape can get close but snareweight tone dampers are the way to go. There is no sticky residue on your skins and no bits of sticky tape to mess about with, just a nice tone on your drums with every stroke of your sticks, they are easy to install and adjustable and have different colours to choose from and with their robust leather construction will last and last.
They are not the cheapest solution but in my opinion the best.

Ich nutze an meinen Floortoms den M80 Dämpfer von Snareweight
Die Montage am Spannreifen des Toms ist denkbar einfach
(Vorsicht, der Dämpfer lässt sich an S-Hoops nicht so perfekt nutzen)

Durch die magnetisch anklappbaren Seitenteile lässt sich der Dämpfungsfaktor der Trommeln perfekt justieren. falls gewünscht, kann der Dämpfer auch hochgeklappt werden und dämpft dann gar nicht mehr das Fell

Für mich sind die Lederdämpfer angenehmer im Handling als die üblichen Gelpads, welche zum Teil irgendwann anfangen zu kleben, das Fell zu färben oder einfach nicht mehr schön aussehen

Si on doit choisir entre des moongel, des O-ring et le snareweight. Clairement le dernier est plus polyvalent et apporte plus de possibilités.
Si vous souhaitez par contre muter plus vos peaux, ce n'est pas la bonne solution. En studio de répète où on me demande de jouer moins fort, il faut trouver d'autres solutions, perso une pince à lettre pour coincer sur le cerclage et une serviette, c'est plus efficace en terme de bruit.
Par contre, le snareweight gère les harmoniques et permet de s'adapter aux différents situations voulues. Très bon produit.

In 3 Stufen nutzbar.
