So far so good

I had some poor experiences with analog/boutique envelope filters regarding hiss. This pedal is completely free of any noises on the side. No hiss or hum! I haven't tried the Neuro editor properly yet, but it there seems to be a lot of options. Six presets seems to be very good by themselves. Kudos for including power adapter with the pedal - something that most manufacturers won't do.

However, the usability regarding the knobs/switch and alternate button is not that good. I got another Source Audio pedal, and if that is as good as this one, I will most likely buy Neuro hub + Soleman so I can get most out of it while improving the usability live. A bit expensive thing to do, but if I'm right, it could be possible to replace a variety of pedals with Intelligent filter and another pedal linked together, thus saving money and space on pedal board. I used to be a full analog fan guy, but hey it's 2022 so there are options - and they are hiss/hum free too!

The pedal sounds fantastic, extremely thick and funky sounding on the bass guitar, I'm really happy. The quantity and quality of various types of envelopes, filters and distortion surprised me.

Sehr geiler Sound

Habe mich von einem YT Video anfixen lassen, und mir den Effekt zum funken auf einem alten Ibanez Soundgear 4-Saiter gekauft. Macht was er soll, und ist sehr vielseitig zu programmieren. Ich habe viele Sounds mit der Software programmiert und meinen Spaß dabei gehabt. Wenn man weiß, was man will geht das zielgerichtet. Um mit "nur ausprobieren" vernünftige Sounds zu erzielen, ist das Softwareinterface zu kompliziert. Dann sollte man bei den Hardwarereglern am Gerät bleiben. Die Bedienung mit dem Kippschalter, und noch schlimmer: mit dem Taster auf der Rückseite, finde ich allerdings nicht besonders praktikabel. Das geschliffene und imho eloxierte ALU Gehäuse finde ich nicht so gut, da sich in den Schleifrillen gerne Dreck absetzt, und Alu einfach nicht die Stabilität von Stahl hat. Fancy, aufwendig gefertigt, aber vermutlich weniger dauerhaft, als ein simples (und billigeres) Stahl, oder Gußgehäuse. Die Potis und deren Knöpfe sind von guter Haptik.
