The patch cables that ship with the Korg MS-20m are so short I had to purchase these to hook into my Arturia BS Pro. These are well made, I've accidentally stretched them and there wasn't even a slight kink to the jack.
If you want to use them in live performance it's possible they might be too short. If the previous act is tidying up and you feel in the way or they're distracting you, a longer cable would give you the luxury of moving just one of your units instead of two to accommodate that. God forbid condensation drips down or a drink spills, again you'd find it much easier to move the gear around the issue than moving two units.
