Thomann Voyager E- Bass

I have been searching for a while to find a bass case that would fit a bass copy of the Music man stingray. In the end got in touch with Thomann. After a number of emails this was the recommendation that they gave.

A big box awaited me, which surprised me as I was expecting the gig bag to have been sent in some thing smaller!!

I have no idea what to expect with bass bags as this the first time that I needed one. This is Thomann s own brand. Once opened up, the inside was of thick grey velvet like material, a large neckrest, and well padded all around. The outer part looks good. Zips, stiching seem strong, time will tell. Plenty of pockets to put in those important bits. Handle and back straps, well made and strong too. Has rubber base to protect the bass when upright.

Negative bit?

Well, it is in one colour which is black and that is it.

Pricey for me. Was noted when comparing with another well known brand there was not much between them.


Would I recommend it? Yes. It is going to last me for a long while. However, I think it is best suited for light gigs . Although I plan to use the case for storing and home use.
