Nice reeds for everyday use. On average one reed per ten is a little bit worse and needs some attention like sanding etc. These reeds are with not too smooth finish - tongue and lip can feel 'coarse' grain of the wood.
I am returning buyer - these reeds are my favorite as there are no surprises between pieces in the box. Very easy to handle even for beginner.

My favorite

Depending on the music i use either 2.5 or 3.
Gives a very smooth creamy feel and tone.
Does not jump and lock into tones like some other reeds.
Perfect match with my Selmer Focus mouthpiece as i want achieve more distant sound. It also softens my jazzy Otto-link tone.

My favourite reed

I've spent the last few months testing four Vandoren reeds: V12, V21, 56 Rue Lepic and Classic Blue. They are all good, the first three providing a slightly better sound than the Classic Blue. The V12 is my favourite, though, in terms of reliability: it consistently performs well, whereas the other reeds seem to have good and bad days.
