Many pick companies make their own version of the well-known Dunlop Tortex range and now Fender can be counted in that number, but where other brands use the same colour scheme as Dunlop for the varying thicknesses, Fender are instead taking inspiration from the classic finishes of some of their best-loved electric guitars.

The gauges of these Fender picks don’t match up exactly with that of the Tortex range. Where Dunlop do a 0.6mm, Fender instead do a 0.58mm, but I’d be very surprised if anybody would notice a difference.

These picks are durable and high-quality.

I keep a set in my Telecaster case, the logo on the picks matches that of my headstock perfectly.

Definitely worth considering.

It are nice picks (I usually use Dunlop 0,60) but wanted to try those to match my seafoam green Fender Pawnshop '71 and does that exactly. So good quality, nicer colour ;-)

Sie liegen gut zwischen den Fingern und sind schön rutschfest. Aber vor allem sorgen sie beim Sound für den richtigen Rotz! Die Tortex klingen daneben irgendwie muffig. Ich spiele sie hauptsächlich in den Stärken 0,60 und 0,71, Letztere gibt es leider nicht bei Thomann – warum eigentlich nicht? Gerade die 0,60 klingen insbesondere bei abgedämpften Powerchords sehr geil! Einziges Manko ist, dass sie sich relativ schnell abnutzen, da sie aber auch nicht zu teuer sind, gibt es halt öfter mal ein frisches Pick. Ich kann jedenfalls jedem nur empfehlen, sie mal auszuprobieren. Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass ich nicht irgendwann vom Blitz getroffen werde, weil ich Fender Picks auf ner Gibson spiele ;-D
