Excellent quality as always from Sommer. I think Sommer cables really hit the spot with price vs quality. They are as good as anything out there and not crazy expensive like certain over-hyped brands of lesser quality.

Good for the money

I had slightly higher hopes for this cable. Looking back I should have spent more money and bought something that is more flexible, more shielded, with better connectors and better made. It works fine but it feels kind of cheap. I will always have use for cheaper cables (they can work great for footswitchs and the like) and that is what I will use this for.

I go back and forth on whether I like buying expensive cables. And in general I think most are worth the additional money. The color is useful for differentiating it. Overall it works fine, is reasonably quiet and does the job.

Nice cable

I got several sommer cable and they are all great in quality. However the 6.3mm Jack for most of them are too large and to me its unnecessary. The elasticity also is one of the import factor this cable wont tingle and will be nice and clear.

habe leider sogar 2 Stück davon gekauft - in der Hoffnung mal was besseres zu haben. Leider stellt sich nach einer weile heraus das diese Instrumenten kabel sich irgendwie nicht gut "entrollen". (Also ich roll da immer zusammen damit die Kabel in den Gigbag passen...) Wenn man dann so ein 6m-Kabel rausnimmt und einfach mal auf den Boden wirft, hat man erstmal nur 3m zur Verfügung weil sich alles ineinander verdreht hat und man das ganze erstmal aufdrehehn muss. klingt albern - nerft aber ungemein wenn man einfach schnell mal anstöpseln will. Ausserdem kannte ich sowas bisher von noch keinem Kabel (auch wenns noch so billig war).
Was auch noch abzuwarten ist: wie lange das Kabel hält. bis jetzt (6 Monate Proberaum) ist alles top. Die Übergäng von Stecker zum Kabel sehen aber für mich als alten Elektriker so aus, als ob da potentiell gern Kabelbrüche entstehen wöllten...
Habe in der gleichen Preisklasse Cordial-Kabel gefunden - die sehen was diese Punkte betrifft wesentlich besser aus.

Aber obs wirklich lang hält, weis man halt erst wenns kaputt ist... ;-)
