Fantastic instrument for people looking for affordable prices

I've been playing on this sax for about 6 months before writing this review to give this instrument a fair review. Just as a side note, I am a clarinetist that recently switched to playing Tenor. This instrument plays beautifully! With my smaller hands, I have no problems reaching the low B and Bb keys. I was able to play a low C on the first try (which was impossible for me on my grandfather's sax) It's also absolutely beautiful; shiny silver, easy to keep clean.

The case is really sturdy and looks great and has plenty of room to store everything you need. It also comes with swabs, reeds, and gloves. There's a care book that is also included. The Thomann reed brand is also very nice to play on. Good sound.

The stock mouthpiece is not bad either especially for people who are beginning. People usually complain about stock mouthpieces but for me it was great because the tip opening wasn't too wide. That works great for people that are used to playing on the clarinet making the switch. Good sound and I have since bought two additional mouthpieces that have wider tip openings.

Overall I am very satisfied. I would highly recommend this sax for anyone that is looking for a good, affordable, quality instrument that looks and plays beautifully. Thank you.

Stunning instrument ready to play out of the box, great case, awesome sound, unbearable price. This is our second instrument purchase and we couldn't be happier, I am a customer for life. Thomann customer service is really great and they are always responsive, fast, professional, and reliable. I wish I had found Thomann sooner.

Ich bin absoluter Saxophonneuling, konnte aber innerhalb kürzester Zeit kleine Lieder spielen, das Saxophon spricht hervorragend an. Die mitgelieferten Blättchen sind, bei richtigem Einspielen, top. Der Sound ist genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe und die Verarbeitung ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Einzig die Daumenhalterung für die rechte Hand hab ich noch nicht geschafft zu verstellen.
Alles in allem ein tolles Instrument und den Preis mehr als angemessen.

Bel instrument

Le premier élément visible est l'étui. Il "respire" la solidité.
S'agissant d'un cadeau d'anniversaire pour mon petit-fils et n'étant pas moi-même musicien, j'ai fait tester l'instrument par son professeur de saxo.
Son avis est celui-ci : l'instrument est superbe (argenté et gravé) et le son est magnifique.
La tonalité grave du ténor m'a procuré une sensation extraordinaire lorsque son professeur à joué le tout début du boléro de Ravel.
Maintenant, c'est à l'usage que l'on pourra évaluer pleinement ce ténor, mais c'est bien "parti".
NB : Difficile de mettre des étoiles lorsque l'on est pas l'utilisateur de l'instrument, mais si je n'en mets pas je ne peux pas envoyer mon évaluation !!!
